Gate Systems

By choosing complementary products, Bri-Tech has assembled a complete Gate Control that meets or exceeds the UL325 Standard for safety. Careful selection of only the most reliable components has produced a system that will continue to operate trouble-free for years to come.

Many components make up the Gate Control. The Model 760 Invisible Gate Operator is a self-contained system that is located underground. Due to its unique design, it has an inherent "slowdown" feature that prevents the gate from "slamming" at the extreme open or closed position. The Model 1812 Telephone Intercom uses the home's existing telephone line for communication between the gate and the home. The Photoelectric Controls uses a photo-beam to detect the presence of someone standing near the gate that could be injured if the gate closed. The gate will not close unless the photo-beam is satisfied.

Other components include wire loops that sense the presence of a vehicle, surge suppressors for low voltage power and telephone lines, and the Model 450 MPS that manages all gate functions.

One option that can be thought about is called Wireless Control. Wireless transmitters and receivers can be supplied to open and close the gate by remote control, similar to the way a garage door opener operates.
