FORD PARTNERS WITH LONG ISLAND'S BRI-TECH FOR REVEAL OF NEW TRANSIT CONNECT AT NEW YORK AUTO SHOW

NEW YORK, March 19, 2008 - Bri-Tech, a local and innovative company built around connectivity, will be featured at the New York Auto Show for Ford's new Transit Connect.

For Brian McAuliff, founder and president of Long Island's Bri-Tech, a leading integrator of high-end electronics, taking center stage with Ford at the auto show will be a new experience. "We work behind the scenes usually," explains Brian. "I'm still shocked that Ford selected us to show the real world application of their new commercial vehicle."

Bri-Tech's story begins while Brian worked at an electronics store to get through college. One day, a frustrated businessman stepped into the store, handed him a malfunctioning phone and asked for a replacement. Instead, McAuliff took it apart and soldered a loose wire.

On the spot, the businessman, who happened to own an engineering firm, offered him a job. Soon after, McAuliff was traveling the world servicing clients and dropped out of college to pursue his flourishing career.

At only 23 years old, McAuliff had already established a strong reputation and decided to start a consulting firm on his own, establishing his place of business in his parents' basement on Long Island.

He eventually was doing so well that he decided to start an audio/video business to expand his offerings, moved out of the basement and brought in his two younger brothers, Mark and Michael, to help him run the company. The three McAuliff brothers now have a 12,000-foot facility in their native Long Island with a staff of 40 people. Every year, Bri-Tech handles over 200 corporate installations and 50 home installations.

A self-confessed "geek," whose passion for electronics came at an early age, Brian never imagined that Ford would call him to participate in the reveal of a new vehicle. "Ford called me and asked if I would be interested in a new purpose-built commercial vehicle that was being introduced at New York," recalls Brian. "They said they were searching for a leading small to medium size business that would benefit from this new vehicle."

It didn't take long for Brian to accept this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Ford. "This is a great opportunity for Bri-Tech to be recognized by Ford and the general public as a leader in our industry," says Brian with a sense of pride. "Not only is it a privilege to work with such an iconic American brand, but the Transit Connect is the perfect vehicle for us."

"We service corporations in Manhattan, Long Island and New Jersey, and we work with luxury homes from the Hamptons to upstate New York," explains McAuliff. "So when gas prices go up we feel the pinch. The Transit Connect will help alleviate some of those costs with its fuel economy, which will help us continue to grow."

In addition to fuel efficiency, the Transit Connect offers an ideal-sized loadbox, which will make deliveries easier. McAuliff is also impressed with the Transit Connect's trendy design.

"Our vehicles are our calling cards," says McAuliff, explaining that Bri-Tech vehicles get noticed more than the company's magazine ads.

"Our trucks are an important part of our marketing efforts and we spend a lot of time designing them. The Transit Connect is great because it is hip and contemporary, versatile and professional looking. It will set us apart from the competition."

At the auto show, Bri-Tech's logos will appear on one Transit Connect and will remain on display for the duration of the show. Brian will have the opportunity to meet with media representatives and share his unique story. That of a small business owner, whose dreams just got bigger!
