Bri-Tech's engineering department has created the Gate Interface Controller (SYM-GIC) in order to improve reliability and maximize features. This waterproof unit is placed next to the gate operator box and interfaces all the gate related devices including the controller, entry phone system, cameras and entry loops to the home systems, giving you full control. This interface makes wiring easier and saves the installation of expensive control wire as it uses direct bury versions of standard CAT5 computer cables.
Superior protection against power surges and lightning are built-in, the circuits funnel these spikes to a ground rod placed right next to the unit to protect the cameras and gate entry systems, providing good insurance against the elements.
In addition there is a built-in 12VDC and 24VAC power supply to provide power to cameras and accessories.
